Member success and satisfaction are dependent on the skill and knowledge of our Advocates. Our healthcare system is confusing and rapidly changing. Advocates help members access necessary medical services and care and make an overwhelming system less intimating. Through education and information, Advocates give members the tools to make better informed choices.

A Day in the Life of An Advocate

• Communicating with members/vendor partners/healthcare providers
• Problem-solving issues
• Documenting case activity
• Collaborating with coworkers
• Enhancing care/cost data resources
• Continuous learning

Education/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• 1 -2 years of work experience in healthcare, insurance, or medical billing preferred, not required
• Able to work some nights until 8 PM Eastern Time
• Passionate about learning
• Enjoys working with people
• Calm and professional phone presence
• Comfortable using Google and Microsoft applications (e.g., Gmail Google Sheets, Excel, Word) preferred
• Excited about joining a start-up

Compensation & Benefits

Annual starting salary: $45,000 – $55,000
Defined monthly benefit contribution: $250
Flexible PTO policy
Opportunity to work from home 1-2 days a week after showing proficiency in role
